4 tips to stop impulse spending:
[1] Unfollow and unsubscribe from the brands that tempt you to shop without thinking.
[2] Remove your saved card details from your browser, apple pay or google wallet. If you have your PayPal or Buy now, pay later login details saved, delete those too. Make it more difficult to spend your hard earned money.
[3] Don’t shop when you’re tired or stressed. Browsing online stores late at night when you can’t sleep is known as ‘vampire shopping’ [funny scream] and can lead to you spending more than you want to.
[4] Use the 24 hour rule. Don’t buy anything non-essential without waiting a full day to decide if it’s really worth it. Do you need it or do you want it? Save the link in your notes app for later, and you’ll probably find you’ll forget about it.
