Have you noticed that your credit score has gone down?
There are loads of reasons why that might have happened.
Missing payments or defaulting on a loan aren’t the only reason your credit score can dip.
It can be because you’ve made a lot of applications in a short space of time, you’ve closed an account or because you’re using more of your available credit.
If you’ve moved, changed your name, that can also have a short-term impact.
It’s important to check the file for any errors. Get in touch with the creditor if there’s any borrowing on your account that you didn’t apply for.
