- Some form fields had placeholders which are helper text, however once a user starts typing in the field this is removed, some users may forget what the placeholder text was.

Compare bank accounts (PACS)
- There is no announcement when a filter is removed or when the results is sorted.
- Screen reader users may not be aware that a filter has been removed, the results have been sorted (via drop down) or the filter has been cleared.

- Table data is not marked up using HTML table elements.

Pensions enquiry form
- Incorrect ARIA landmarks.
- Assigning the wrong role may cause confusion for some users.

- The text label is not associated with the text field.
- People unable to see the screen such as those using screen readers use the text label to understand what information to enter into a form field.
- WCAG Criterion 1.3.1 Info and Relationships (A).
- Personal data inputs are missing autocompletes.
- When the purpose of a form field used to collect personal information isn't identified, it can make it difficult for people with cognitive disabilities or memory impairments to complete the form. Additionally, assistive technology users and those with mobility problems benefit from auto-completable fields having that functionality enabled for them, as it can significantly reduce the number of key strokes required.
- WCAG Criterion: 1.3.5 Identify Input Purpose (AA).
- The error summary box cannot be accessed with a screen reader.
- Keyboard users will not be able to access the error summary links. The current setup using labels works for mouse users, but with a keyboard the labels don’t get focus.

What we’re doing to improve accessibility
We are working to fix content which fails to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard. We also perform regular usability testing with participants with disabilities, and commission third-party accessibility audits of new or substantially changed features to evaluate the accessibility of our site.
We will revise this accessibility statement to reflect improvements made and any new issues no later than 30 September 2025.
Preparation of this accessibility statement
This statement was last updated on 10 January 2025.
This website was last tested on 3 December 2024. The test was carried out by Nomensa Ltd.
The testing used a combination of accessibility evaluation tools, visual inspection of code and testing with assistive technology to evaluate a representative subset of the new tools on the site. Previous tests have evaluated other areas of the website using the same methodology, and these areas have not changed materially since those tests.
